Special Value The VESRAH VD-170 SRJL-X pad is a maximum thickness pad for endurance racing.
  • The Pads are 1mm Thicker than the Standard VD-170 SRJL-17 Pad
  • The X pads are a bit less expensive over the life of the pad, because of the extra thickness.
    • Example:  If you use 100% of the brake pad material (100% worn):
      • ~3.6mm Friction Material Thickness for SRJL-17: $44.44 per 1mm of Friction Material Thickness.
      • ~4.8mm Friction Material Thickness for SRJL-X: $39.58 per 1mm of Friction Material Thickness.

    • Fits OEM Calipers and Brake Rotors, Thicker Aftermarket Rotors may prevent fitment of these pads.
    • Anti Rattle/Sequel plates may not be able to be fit with these brake pads due to their thickness.
  • SRJL X pads were developed for maximum life for endurance racing!!!
  • SRJL X pads are the same compound as the SRJL-17

Vesrah is considered one of the top racing brake pads manufactures. 

The SRJL-X compound is the same compound as the SRJL-17, just in a Thicker Endurance Pad Thickness. The SRJL-17 Brake Pad compound is the preferred choice for Experienced Racers looking for greater brake performance with lower lever effort.  Some racers say SRJL-17 Brake Pads allow easy one finger braking.
  • Strong initial "bite" giving the brakes a more powerful feel.
  • Brake performance has a linear feel.
  • Pad compound is resistant to fade related to heat buildup.
  • No Bedding in of the pad is required before usage.

KurveyGirl.com strongly recommends preparing your rotors when switching over from other brands of brake pads to Vesrah pads.  Rotor surface preparation of sanding the rotor surface is strongly recommended.  Surface preparation is to remove any residue from the previous pad used, so the new pads will preform at their maximum capability.
